Resources for Kids, Schools, and Parents
We adults are responsible for the consequences of our actions and our parents’ actions. However, children will have to both survive and finish our work. Here are resources for kids, parents, teachers, and others, including articles about youth motivation, potential actions, stories of active youth, and more.
Kids
The most passionate and effective advocates for addressing climate change are often children. Their concern for the planet’s future, coupled with their untarnished optimism and innate sense of justice, empowers them to become formidable activists. Children’s voices can inspire action, mobilize communities, and demand accountability from leaders. From organizing school strikes to creating impactful social media campaigns, young activists are reshaping the climate change narrative.

Schools
From curriculum decisions to the number of hours a day kids spend in their care, schools are uniquely positioned to have an impact on how our children both understand and navigate climate change. From this institutional level, a wealth of opportunities exist to educate students on the facts of global warming and how it is changing our world.
